The new Care Certificate for Health & Social Care workers officially launched on the 1st April 2015.

The NMC have revised The Code: Professional Standards of practice and behaviour for nurses and midwives, which was made available on 31st March 2015. The revised code now includes the following:

The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), has recently revised its code for nurses and midwives. This becomes effective on 31st March 2015 and is a revision to the previously released 2008 version.
