NHSE Resources for Agency Staff

NHS RESOURCES FOR AGENCY STAFF

Following the dreadful news recently in Southport and the subsequent riots, NHS England (NHSE) has provided some resources that Agency staff can access for practical and emotional support during the ongoing unrest in the UK.

1. NHS Text Support: NHS England has launched a new initiative called "NHS Shout Text Support". This service provides confidential mental health support via text messaging. Nursing staff can access this service to seek advice, share their concerns and receive emotional support during these challenging times.

2. NHS 111 Support: In addition to the existing NHS 111 Helpline, NHSE has expanded its services to provide practical advice specifically tailored for nursing staff. If any agency staff require guidance related to their work, health or well-being, they can call NHS 111 and select the option for healthcare professionals.

We hope you all stay safe and should you have any concerns, please do use the text or phone service mentioned above. Anything else as per usual, please let your Account Manager know and we will do our best to support you. Take care, thank you for your support and stay safe.

Best wishes,

WNA Group
