WNA Healthcare are looking for Operating Department Practitioners to work in the Bath and surrounding areas. Applicants must have current medical and surgical experience within a hospital environment plus current HCPC Registration. They will be working with nurses, doctors, Surgeons and other healthcare professionals in a busy environment.

The following need to be supplied:
- Proof of right to work in the UK
- Fitness to Work Certificate or proof of vaccinations/immunity
- DBS Check/Update Service Check
- Proof of Mandatory training aligned to the Skills for Health UKCSTF standards
- English Competency
- 2 x satisfactory clinical references

ODP duties and responsibilities
ODPs often play a significant role in providing expert assistance to the Surgical team throughout the perioperative process which includes the preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative phases. Their main duties and responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Anaesthetist with the administration of Anaesthesia
- Preparing and handling surgical instruments
- Monitoring patients vital signs
- Transferring patient to the recovery areas
- Assist in removal of any tubes and equipment used during the procedure
- High level of Patient Care
- Ensuring Operating Theatre is clean and sterile
- ODPs can also work as Scrub Practitioners or Recovery Practitioners
